Orchard Site First Graders Talk About Cooking Turkeys

The first graders in Orchard wrote a paragraph about how they think a turkey is made for Thanksgiving! If you need a laugh, keep reading.

Lakin Cleveland: First, I would get it out of the frig. Next, I wash it off. Last, I cook it in the oven for 10 minutes at 4 degrees.

Liam Cleveland: First, Squeeze the blood out. Next, I put the turkey in the oven to cook for 20 hours at 50 degrees. Last, I cut it and put it on the table.

Carter Mullins: First, cut the turkey. Next, cook it in the oven for 3 minutes on warm,  Last, I eat the turkey. 

Ethan Barner: First, I will kill it with a gun. I will shoot it in the forest. Next, I will cook it in the oven for 100 minutes. It will be hoooooot!!!!!. Last, I will eat it. Yum, Yum, Yum!!

Hudson Gray: First, I thaw it in the sink for a day. Next, I cook the turkey at 100 degrees for 1 minute. Last, I eat the turkey at the table.

Zander Tabbert: First, I put stuffing in the turkey. Next, I put carrots in the turkey. Last, I cook it in the stove for 3 minutes at 3 degrees.

Carson Hoffman: First, I would kill the turkey in the forest. Next, me and dad will cook the turkey in the kitchen. Last, I eat the turkey.

Landon Nelson: First, put the turkey in the oven for 10 minutes at 10 degrees. Next,I take it out and cut it. Last, I eat it.

Braelyn Bergman: First, I take the blood out of the turkey. Next, I rinse the turkey in the sink. Last, I cook the turkey at 10,050 degrees for 2 hours.

Erica Northcutt: First, I put the turkey on the cutter and cut it in 4  pieces. Next, put the turkey in the oven that's not that hot for 4 minutes. Last, I take it out of the oven and I cut it.

Jennie Mejia: First, I take the turkey out. Next, I put the turkey in the oven at 6 degree for 20 minutes. Last,I eat the turkey on the table.

Abbi Miller: First, I shoot the turkey and I bring the turkey home. Next, I cook the turkey for 8 minutes at 6 degrees. Last, I eat the turkey with my whole family.
