The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a heat advisory, which is in effect from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Heat index values will be mostly in the 100 to 107 degree range for Saturday afternoon and evening. Actual temperatures will be in the 90s, but the humidity will make it feel hotter. Conditions may be similar on Sunday, but an advisory has not been issued for Sunday at this time. The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure.
