Funeral service for Kallie R. Arnold, 16, of Norfolk will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Northern Heights Baptist Church in Norfolk with Pastor Matthew Gilmore and Pastor Jeff Sours officiating. Interment will be held at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Norfolk. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Kallie died Monday, January 14, 2019 in Norfolk, NE.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family for a later designation. Friends and family are invited to wear blue to the service in honor of Kallie's favorite color. Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk is in charge of the arrangements. Born May 7, 2002, in Norfolk, Kallie was the daughter of David and Kristie (Carlson) Arnold. She attended grade school in Norfolk and was a junior attending Norfolk High School. Kallie currently was working at Raising Canes Restaurant in Norfolk. She liked to help out her neighbors with work and chores. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her brothers. On Feb. 9, 2014, Kallie was baptized at Heartland Baptist Church in Norfolk. She was a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church in Norfolk, The Zone After School Program, the Career Academy at the high school and the “Merge” youth group student ministry at the church. Survivors include her parents, David and Kristie Arnold of Norfolk; her brothers, Dawson Arnold, Parker Arnold and Braxton Arnold, all of Norfolk; her paternal grandmother, Leann Arnold of Norfolk; and her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Linda Carlson of Orchard. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Earl Arnold. Pianist Becky Sours will play for the funeral, and recorded music will be “Jealous of the Angels,” “Photographs,” “10,000 Reasons” and “I’ll Fly Away.” Casket bearers will be Jordan Volden, Spencer Volden, Dylan Fick, Mason Karmann, Ellis Arnold and Bill Manlove.
