With Travel Not Advised, N-O Board Meeting Postponed

The Neligh-Oakdale Board of Education has postponed its meeting tonight due to the weather.

An alert message from superintendent Kimberly Lingenfelter said the monthly meeting will now be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has upgraded Neligh to a Winter Storm Warning, which means severe weather conditions are expected or occurring. 

Snow accumulations are expected to reach 4-8 inches. Winds could occasionally reach 40 mph.

According to the NWS, significant amount of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle.
