 The Neligh-Oakdale golf team shot their best score of the season at the O'Neill Invite on Thursday.
The Warriors shot a 376, placing them the seventh out of the 17 schools participating in the meet. Hartington Cedar Catholic came in first with a 329. "We golfed okay considering the conditions," Coach Frank Gade said. "We set a new personal team record this year by shooting a 376, and we are looking forward to competing at home, in the Niobrara Valley Conference Tournament on this coming Tuesday." Grant Knutson and Brady Kallhoff led the way for the Warrior golfers, shooting a 92 and 93, respectively in the 18-hole competition.
