A playoff decided the winner of the Hwy. 20 Golf Meet in Bassett on Tuesday. Wolfpack golfer Kyle Heithoff was narrowly edged out of first place after a four-hole playoff with a Boyd County golfer. Both shot an 81 after 18 holes. Chad Bode of EPPJ was just one stroke behind, carding an 82 for third place. Other Wolfpack scores were: Miles Schrage, 94; Regan Kerkman, 99 and Jack Borer, 106 A playoff also decided the runner up team in the invite. O'Neill won the meet with a 346, followed by West Holt and Valentine with 351 each. West Holt won the playoff for second place. EPPJ earned fourth place in the meet with a team score of 356. Clearwater-Orchard placed fifth with a 375, and Neligh-Oakdale trailed by one stroke for sixth with a 376. Eleven schools competed in the meet. Senior Cyclone golfers Tate Schutt and Aaron Hauf each shot an 89 in the meet. In a score card playoff with O'Neill player, Schutt finished in 16th place and Hauf was 17th in the 53-player field. Other Cyclone scores were: Jacob Tabbert, 95; Riley Snider, 102; and Zach Martin, 110. Brady Kallhoff led the Warrior golfers with a 91, followed by Chase Kallhoff with a 93 for 22nd and 25th, respectively.
