Twenty students from Neligh-Oakdale took part in today's Pierce Honor Band event.
"I'm very proud of the dedication and commitment that these kids show to our school and community," said Neligh-Oakdale director Nate Metschke. "Honor band experiences help build and strengthen our own musical performances, and it also it a great time to strengthen and build friendships with students from N-O and other schools. Several students have friends that they have met on the 'honor band circuit' and enjoy making music with them. I want to thank the students for all of their hard work, and always remember that YOU are the key ingredient in our Neligh-Oakdale band success recipe."
