A local physician assistant is returning home this month.
Antelope Memorial Hospital welcomes the addition of Angela Sucha, PA-C, to its medical staff this month. Originally from Verdigre, Sucha is a 2010 graduate of Verdigre High School. She attended Hastings College, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Biology. She attended the College of Public Health at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for one year, obtaining a certificate in Community Oriented Primary Care in 2015. She then completed a 26-month Physician Assistant Program at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas on July 28, 2017. After taking her boards, Angela became certified as a physician assistant on August 14th and began her career at AMH on September 5th.
“Returning to rural primary care was a big dream of mine,” said Sucha. “I’m truly honored to have the opportunity to serve the communities in this area.”
Angela and her husband, Nolan, currently reside in Verdigre and have plans to move to Clearwater later this month. Nolan is employed at Sonder Well Company in Verdigre and also farms with Angela’s father.
Angela’s parents are Kevin and Betty Boggs of rural Winnetoon. Kevin farms the family farm where they reside. Betty is the clerk magistrate at the Knox Co. Court Office. Angela has two sisters. Her older sister, Lianne Lawson, works at Antelope Memorial Hospital as a physical therapist. Lianne and her husband, Logan, reside in Neligh; he is employed at Antelope County News. Angela’s younger sister, Amanda, lives and works as a waitress in Stanton.
Angela’s hobbies include participating in sports – especially sand and court-volleyball. She also enjoys gardening, cooking and baking.
This fall, Sucha looks forward to providing medical care for patients of all ages at the AMH Family Practice Clinics. For an appointment, call (toll-free) 877.887.5440.
