Engines will be revving Friday at the Neligh Airport, but it won't be planes on the runway.
The annual Stoplight Drags will be from 2-6 p.m., following the grand parade on Main Street.
The event is sponsored by Norfolk Area Rod & Custom and the Neligh Young Men's Club. Proceeds go to the NARCI scholarship Fund & the Neligh Young Men's Club Fireworks Display.
There is $3 admission fee. Those 12-and-under are free.
No 4-wheelers or motorcycles are allowed. Only licensed drivers may participate; drivers under age 18 will need on-site parent approval. Three runs costs $5, and all day is $25. The King of The Hill Race is limited to 16 cars and has a cash payback.
