Shootout On The Elkhorn Holiday Tournament Postponed

The "Shootout on the Elkhorn" holiday tournament, which will include Neligh-Oakdale, will be delayed by a day thanks to the impending weather.

The "Shootout on the Elkhorn," hosted by Wisner-Pilger, is a 3-day tournament at Wisner - now December 29-31. Eight teams will be playing in this year's tourney: Neligh-Oakdale, Wisner-Pilger, Ponca, Battle Creek, Wakefield, Pierce, Lutheran High Northeast and Winnebago.

The Neligh-Oakdale girls and boys will each play Wisner-Pilger in the first round of the tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 29. The girls are set to tip off at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:45 p.m. Both games will be played in the north gym. Click here for a complete bracket.

Admission is adults $5 and students $4.

An all tournament 1st and 2nd team will be selected at the end of the tournament.  The quota system will be as follows:
