Semis Collide At Highway 275/14 Intersection

Two semis collided Thursday afternoon at one of the busiest intersections of Neligh.

According to Neligh Police Officer Phil Hart, the accident occurred at the intersection of Highways 14 and 275. Hart said a semi driven by Muhummad Ali of Grand Island turned west in front of a semi going eastbound driven by Shane Gaes of Norfolk. The rear of Ali’s semi struck the front of Gaes’ truck.

There were no injuries to either driver. Ali was cited for failure to yield to the right away of a vehicle.

The accident was investigated by the Neligh Police Department. The Nebraska State Patrol assisted.
