Desks, chairs, tables and more will be for sale at Neligh-Oakdale this week. On Friday, May 22nd from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. all stakeholders are invited to the Elmer Lindahl Gym to scan items that are no longer being used by the staff or students at Neligh-Oakdale. All items must be removed from campus – the school cannot be used as storage. Custodians will load all items that remain in the gym for disposal.
Items in storage that are no longer being used that may be of interest to stakeholders include: desks, chairs, tables, computer carts, TV/AV carts and miscellaneous kitchen equipment.
At the April board meeting, the board of education approved the removal of equipment that is in storage and has ceased to be depreciable. Items that have value that are no longer being used by staff or students will be marked accordingly and separated from items that are "free for the taking."
