Ichabod Crane rode away with the championship Tuesday as Pope John's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" won the NVC East One-Act Competition in Neligh.
Neligh-Oakdale earned runner up with their performance of "That's Not How I Remember It."
Three judges determined the rankings:

Chase Kallhoff of Neligh-Oakdale earned the Best Actor award and Katie Koenig of Ewing was named Best Actress.
