The two people named by the Lincoln Police Department as the persons of interest in the disappearance of Sydney Loofe have made their statement.
In a video posted early Wednesday morning to the "Finding Sydney Loofe" Facebook page, Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell plead their innocence.
"I pray for Sydney, I hope she’s found soon," Trail said. "I wish the family the best. I’m sorry that she wasn’t with you on Thanksgiving. And that’s pretty much all I can say."
Boswell added that she went on two dates with Loofe, before dropping her off at a friend's house on the night of their disappearance. Trail then finished the video reiterating their innocence.
The Lincoln Police Department has informed media that the video is currently under investigation and it is too early to provide a statement. Information will be provided as soon as more has come from the investigation. Chief Bliemeister is not available for interviews at this time.
This is a developing story.
