Old Mill Days To Host Color Run Benefit For N-O Track

Old Mill Days will get a splash of color again this year with a 5k Color Run benefiting the Neligh-Oakdale track that was recently constructed.

Last year, Neligh-Oakdale received approval to build a new track. The school district and taxpayers covered the bill, but those funds didn't cover costs for maintaining the track for the future and purchasing any new equipment that may come up.

The Color Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 1. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Antelope County Fairgrounds near the ag building. The race will begin at 9 a.m. Cost is $25 for each participating, which includes a t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in four age groups - Grades 2-6, Grades 7-9, Grades 10-12 and Adult.
