The show will go on for Neligh's drive-in on Thursday night. After the TK/Starlite Drive-In's digital projector was deemed unrepairable last Friday night, a new digital projector was flown in and will be ready for shows on Thursday, July 24, according to manager Brittany Kallhoff. Kallhoff said the drive-in will be showing "Planes: Fire & Rescue" and "Maleficient" through Thursday, July 31. The drive-in is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. "We apologize for any inconvenience this is," she said. Kallhoff said the old digital projector was "completely fried" and will be replaced by a new model, which is extremely expensive for the seasonal business. The drive-in has been accepting donations for some time to help with the funding. Anyone who would like to make a donation to help fund the purchase of the digital projector can do that online here. TK/Starlite Drive-In will continue to update its movie schedules via Facebook and its website. "We really appreciate the support of the community and people from all over the area who come to Neligh for the drive-in," she said. |
