July is approaching, and with it comes this years Neligh Old Mill Days. This year will commemorate 45 years of Old Mill Days.
While the celebration will not include the Stoplight Drags this year, there are lots of great events hosted by the Neligh Young Men's Club.
The Evening At The Museum will take place Sunday, July 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the Antelope County Museum. Other big events include a new sand volleyball tournament from the Women of Neligh and the 5K Color Run on July 1, which benefits the new equipment for the Neligh-Oakdale track.
A 3-D Shoot is set for Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Archery Range.
The Fourth of July will feature most of the same events from past years. As always, July 4th begins with a breakfast/lunch at the Senior Center, a fishing contest at Fred Penn Park and the ice cream social in front of the courthouse.
The Grand Parade will be held at noon on Tuesday. Following will be a Hot Dog Feed at the American Legion, the kiddie tractor pull and turtle races.
