Neligh-Oakdale Public School is preparing for the future, and the Building & Grounds Board committee is requesting your participation in their planning process for the facility challenges the district is facing. The committee has spent a great deal of time (in conjunction with an architect) developing a vision that aligns with concerns mentioned from the Essential Finance Planning (EFP) process team that met in January and February of 2012. The Building and Grounds Board committee would like to complete the facility planning process, and the public is being asked to contribute to this method for dealing with challenging facility decisions. The Building & Grounds Committee will have more community meetings in the future – this is the first scheduled meeting. During this process, we will be reviewing the following information:
This process will be facilitated by Brad Higgins (Building & Grounds Committee Chairman), Carrie Pitzer (Building & Grounds Committee), and Del Ames (Building & Grounds Committee) who have been developing a vision with architect Ralph Gladbach. We would like to encourage your participation from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26. If you are interested in participating in the planning process for the facility challenges of Neligh-Oakdale Public Schools, please contact Linda Wilkinson at school as soon as possible (this number will dictate where the meeting will be held in the school) at 887-4166 or [email protected]. We hope to see you on February 26th for our initial meeting. By: Neligh-Oakdale Schools |
