Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA Members Compete At Nationals

Four Neligh-Oakdale FCCLA members competed in STAR projects at the National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. this week. 


Gabriela Linares earned a gold in Fashion Design; Tia Smith and Nikki Grosserode received a silver in Sports Nutrition and Cody Madsen was given a silver for Life Event Planning. 


The students, along with their sponsor Mrs. Kimberly Scarborough, also took in numerous sites in Washington, D.C. 


They visited places such as the Capitol, Arlington Cemetery and Union Station.


The group also participated in several FCCLA sessions, including one on the lawn of the Capitol to celebrate 70 years of FCCLA.
