With temperatures at -7 degrees and the wind chill at nearly -30, several City of Neligh workers spent Tuesday morning in the cold to make sure residents had power.
Much of Northeast Nebraska, including Antelope County, was in a wind chill advisory due to the dangerous conditions.
City Superintendent Dean Bly said a transformer went bad north of Blackburn Manufacturing. He said the City spent 3-4 hours on the issue.
The City employees repairing the transformer were Scott Kester, Josh Capler and Brian Hain.
