Fun. That's how the Neligh firemen describe their golf tournament.
The annual four-person scramble benefitting the Neligh Volunteer Fire Department will be Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Antelope Country Club.
"We want everyone to have a fun time," organizer Jake Sladky said. "That's what our tournament is about - fun."
Sladky said the tournament features betting holes and even has one hole where participants have to tee-off wearing bunker gear, making things a little more interesting.
Cost is $160 per team, which includes mulligans and a meal. Carts are available to rent.
Sladky said there will be lots of door prizes, including prizes for ladies. A putting contest will also be held, featuring larger prizes.
The tournament is open to a limited number of teams. To play, register at ACC by calling 402-887-5211.
