TK/Starlite Drive-In may be one the last operating drive-ins in the state, buts it's the first one in the United States to have the new projector that was installed this week. Manager Brittany Kallhoff said the Neligh drive-in is the first theater in the country to use the new Barco Alchemy Cinema projector. It was used for the first time on Thursday night. "It was a learning experience for our installers," she said. "But it's wonderful to be back up and learning. We are the first theater in the U.S. to have it, so it's very exciting." The drive-in was forced to close last weekend when the previous digital projector broke. The drive-in reopened on Thursday night using the new state-of-the-art projector. The new projector offers consistent image quality and brightness thanks to the proprietary sealed engine and advanced DMD cooling system.
