Community Block Parties Are Full Of Fun For All Ages

​Neighborhoods all across Neligh were having fun Sunday night at the city-wide block parties.

Sponsored by Neligh Economic Development, the annual block parties encouraged neighbors to get to know each other and have an evening of fun together.

Economic Development Director Greg Ptacek said one of the major selling points to small town living is that you know your neighbors and are part of a community. The block parties serve as a reminder to that concept being part of daily life in Neligh, he said.
