N-O Homecoming Festivities Begin With Pep Rally, Bonfire

Neligh-Oakdale's homecoming pep rally and bonfire brought out lots of school spirit on Sunday night.

The evening included skits from the classes, speeches from the coaches and a few challenges for others.

Football coach Ron Beacom, volleyball coach Hannah Hoefer and cross country coach Rick Eickholt were challenged to see who could do the most push ups. Senior parents Terra Bentley-Kimes, Amy Wright and Shelly Grosserode had a competition to see who could do the most sit ups. 

The spirit cup was awarded to the freshman class. The bonfire was lit following the skits.
