The Neligh-Oakdale Board of Education's regular January meeting has been moved from Monday, Jan. 12, to Monday, Jan. 19, which will also now be the date for appointing a new board member. Superintendent Kimberly Lingenfelter issued a press release on Friday concerning the resignation of board member Del Ames and the process for board appointment. Lingenfelter updated that release Monday with a change in the date of the meeting and appointment of the new board member. "The rationale for altering the press release and moving the board meeting is to allow our new appointee the ability to provide input during our January strategic planning retreat with regard to the facility challenges facing the district," Lingenfelter said. Those interested in serving on the board have until noon Friday, Jan. 16, to submit a letter to the board. To view the official press release click here. |
