Motion Filed For Additional Charges Against Lierman

The case against Darryl Lierman could see additional charges soon.

Already facing multiple charges in Antelope and Madison counties, prosecutors have filed motions to add additional charges of third degree sexual assault of a child and child abuse. 

An objection has been filed by Lierman's attorny, claiming the charges would be considered double jeapordy.

According to court documents, the new charges are related to a child that Lierman was alleged to have assaulted almost ten years ago. Lierman was tried in 2011 on sexual assault charges and acquitted by a jury.

He presently faces eight sexual assault-related counts in Antelope County and three more in Madison County.
