A special meeting is planned for Monday, Oct. 5, as the Neligh-Oakdale Board of Education discusses searching for a new superintendent.
Monday's meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the superintendent's office. The agenda includes "discussion/action on the representative of Nebraska Association of School Boards presentation on the superintendent search process."
Bill Kuester is currently serving as the interim superintendent. He was one of two candidates who interviewed for the position following the resignation of Kimberly Lingenfelter.
Kuester signed a one-year contract as administrator at Neligh-Oakdale, effective until June 30, 2016. His salary is $122,000.
