A man was arrested Friday night east of Neligh following a pursuit by multiple law enforcement agencies.
According to a spokesperson with the Nebraska State Patrol, at about 8:20 p.m. both the State Patrol and the Neligh Police Department were advised to watch for a vehicle that was eastbound on Highway 275 from Oakdale. Trooper Daniel Parker and an officer with the Neligh Police Department intercepted the vehicle, which made a u-turn in the middle of oncoming traffic and began traveling west bound, according to the Patrol. A low-speed chase pursued with Trooper Parker performing a tactical vehicle intervention, which stopped the vehicle between Neligh and Oakdale on Highway 275. The driver, who has not been identified, was arrested for driving under the influence and is being housed at the Antelope County Law Enforcement Center.
