Lierman Reports New Address As Camper On Commercial Lot

Darryl Lierman has reported his address as a 602 W 6th Street (commercial lot with a camper) in Neligh, which is just across the ally from Pioneer Homes - the location he was asked to leave last week.

A Neligh man accused of sexual assault of a child has reported his new address as a commercial lot with a camper.

Darryl Lierman was released on bond March 2 and moved into Pioneer Homes in Neligh. After numerous complaints, Lierman agreed to move out of Pioneer Homes. On Friday, Lierman reported his new address to the district court as 602 W 6th Street in Neligh - located across the ally from Pioneer Homes. 

The lot is owned by both Darryl and Julie Lierman. Although it does not have a permanent structure on the commercial property, it does have a camper trailer. 

Last week, Antelope County Sheriff Bob Moore testified last week that numerous complaints had been received about Lierman residing at Pioneer Homes following his release from the Antelope County Law Enforcement Center. Moore said Pioneer Homes was not made aware that Lierman was living there. 

Lierman's bond was originally set at $500,000 but was lowered three times. Lierman was released March 2 on 10 percent of the $50,000 bond.

Moore said he asked for clarification from Judge Mark Johnson. Moore had received requests from media on Lierman's address, but Moore said he did not know if that was public record. Moore also wanted clarification on whether Pioneer Homes "would be an appropriate place" for Lierman to reside since his bond stipulated no direct or indirect contact with minors who are under the age of 18.

During discussion at Lierman's evidentiary hearing at the Antelope County Courthouse, Lierman agreed to leave Pioneer Homes by Friday. The only official action taken by the court at the hearing on his residency was to mandate that Lierman will report his new address to the court, rather than Moore, which will make it public record. 

Lierman is charged with three counts of first degree sexual assault of a child (class 1B felonies), three counts of third degree sexual assault of a child and four counts of child abuse (class IIIA felonies).
