Library The Perfect Place To Warm Up In December

If you need a respite from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, the library is just the place for you.

They have an abundance of good reads including Love and Other Consolation Prizes by Jamie Ford, Afterlife by Marcus Sakey, To Be Where You Are by Jan Karon, The Burning Girl by Claire Messud, The Resurrection of Joan Ashby by Cherise Wolas and many others.

If you enjoy westerns, they have added The Brothers O’Brien: The Killing Season by William and J. A. Johnston and The Loner by Stu Campbell to the collection.

Browse and bid on your favorite items from the Friends of the Library silent auction. You have until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 14th to stop in and place your bid on any of the great items.  All proceeds go to support children’s and family programming. Don’t miss your chance to give this season of thanksgiving.

Join the library for their family-friendly programs each week. Story Time is every Friday at 10:00 a.m. Santa Claus will be at the library on Monday, December 4th. Join them from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for an evening of food and fun.
