Large Crowd Attends Neligh-Oakdale's Reading Night

The attendance was high, even though the temperature was low.

Neligh-Oakdale's Read Across America last night was considered a success, according to organizers of the event.

Approximately 250 people attended the annual event, sponsored by the N-O Education Association and Title I committee.

The Dr. Seuss-themed reading night featured numerous table activities. Students were also able to pick out a new book for themselves. The new books were made possible by the generous donations from local businesses. 
A huge thank you to the following businesses for their donations: Jeff Doerr Law Offices, Kayton International, Gossman Construction, Jonny Dodge, Thriftway Market, Blackburn Mfg. Co., Neligh Auto, Hilltop Drug, Heritage Bank, Wanek Pharmacy, Pinnacle Bank, Greenline Equipment and Ryan and Shelly Furstenau.
