Koinzan Appointed As New Antelope County Supervisor

Antelope County has a new supervisor representing District 6, a position that was formerly filled by Harlan Brandt.

Four candidates were interviewed by County Attorney Joe Abler, Treasurer Deb Branstiter and Clerk Lisa Payne on Tuesday afternoon. Greg Koinzan was then appointed to fill the position through the end of Brandt's term.

Koinzan was not present at the time, so his appointment is pending his acceptance since he was absent for the vote.

Others who were seeking to fill the position were Ron Wilkinson of Oakdale, who formerly served as a supervisor; Stan Wilkinson of Oakdale; Kenny Bartos of Tilden and Greg Koinzan of Tilden.
