Knights Of Columbus Free Throw Contest To Be Held Sunday

The annual Knights of Columbus free throw contest will be this Sunday, January 12.

Registration is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in the Neligh-Oakdale High School Gym and the contest will start at 1:30 p.m.

Boys and girls, who are 9-14 years old as of January 1, may participate, unless they are high school athletes. Winners from each age group will qualify for the district contest and will be awarded plaques.

Contestants, ages 9-11, will shoot from a 12-foot free throw line and will use a woman's regulation-size basketball. Shooters, ages 12-14, will use regulation balls and shoot from the regulation 15-foot free throw line.
