Darryl Lierman was found guilty on all eight counts on Wednesday afternoon.
After about 3 1/2 hours of deliberation, the jury unanimously agreed upon his guilt.
He was found guilty of three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child and three counts of child abuse.
After hearing seven days of testimony, Judge Mark Johnson turned the case over the jury on Wednesday morning. Judge Johnson read the jury 16 instructions and at 9:12 a.m., officially submitted the case for deliberation.
The 12-member jury, made up of 8 women and 4 men, had been sequestered since Thursday. The jury took less than 4 hours to deliberate on Wednesday and unanimously find Lierman guilty on all counts.
Judge Johnson ordered Lierman into the custody of the Antelope County Sheriff’s Office, although it is unclear where Lierman will be housed until his sentencing on March 28.
Lierman is also facing similar charges in Madison County and will be tried on those in June.
