A new year of Girl Scout cookie sales begins on Friday, February 7.
The 2014 line-up features eight cookies, including one new variety--Cranberry Citrus Crisps. This crispy cookie is made with whole grain and is full of tangy cranberry bits and zesty citrus flavors, according to Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.
Other returning favorites are Thanks-A-Lot, Lemonades, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Peanut Butter Patties, Thin Mints and Caramel deLites.
Girl Scouts will again have the cookies on hand, so customers will receive the cookies immediately after they place their order. The cookies cost $3.50 per box and proceeds support Girl Scout troop activities and programs across the state.
The Girl Scout cookie program in Nebraska runs through March 9. Girl Scout cookie booths will open in select locations, beginning February 14.
