Alexis Dawn Jensen

Community activities/organizations: NA
Future plans: Become a physician assistant and attend the University of South Dakota.

Kinsley Klabenes

Hobbies/Interests: Cooking, baking, snowmobiling, snowboarding, hiking, traveling, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family

Future plans: To major in Nursing at a college/university not yet decided, work as an RN in a local hospital and specialize in Obstetrics. One day settle down and start a family

Lindsay Renee’ Sands
Parents/Guardian: Chuck and Shelley Sands

Hobbies/Interests: Playing volleyball, Being artistic, Traveling, Snowboarding, Skiing, Snowmobiling, Spending quality time with family and friends
School activities/organizations/honors since freshman year: Choir (3 years), Volleyball (3 years), Basketball (1 year), Club Volleyball – Spring & Summer (1 year), Attendant  (Junior year), Art  (4+ years), N-O Letterman’s Club.
Community activities/organizations: Helping coach Youth Volleyball (1 year), Helped with Meals on Wheels, Worked as a Lifeguard (3 years)
Future plans: Plan on attending Northeast Community College, and then transferring to Wayne State to acquire a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Later I hope to teach in a local school and start a family.

Damon Daniel Arehart
Parents/Guardian: Randy & Melony Arehart

Hobbies/Interests: Playing sports. Watching Husker football games, racing go karts, going to stock car races, hanging out with friends & family. School  activities/organizations/ honors since freshman year: Participated in Football, Basketball, Track, and band all of the high school years.
On the High honor or regular Honor Roll all of high school, was a prom server as a sophomore, is a member of the National Honor Society, FBLA, & Student Council and the N-O club, received an NSAA NCPA (Boy’s) Academic All State Award for basketball 2015-2016, received a Niobrara Valley Conference Final 4 award of recognition (for Basketball) for 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, received a Niobrara Valley Conference Principal’s Academic All Conference award for 2015-2016, received awards for the Lincoln Journal Star Academic All-State for football, basketball, and track in 2015-2016, received a certificate of Merit from Northeast Community College for participation in the High School Scholastic Contest in 2016, was selected to be an American Legion Boy’s State Representative in 2016.
Community activities/organizations: Has helped with putting up the city Christmas light display in the past, Has helped with being a referee for youth basketball, Has helped with the baseball field after heavy rains, in the summers, Mows an elderly family member’s lawn regularly during the summer.
Future plans: Attend college and pursue a degree in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy

Tyson Belitz

2nd Graders
Madison Metschke
Parents/Guardian:  Nate & Darcy Metschke
Hobbies/Interests:  Madison loves to dance.  She dances with Paulyn’s Dance Studio in Neligh, and she’s also in Jr. Company for the studio in Norfolk.  Sometimes she likes to dance around the house when no one is looking.  Madison also like to draw pictures of make-believe people and sometimes monkeys. Climbing the monkey bars at school is where you’ll probably find her at recess.  Madison also enjoys being a Brownie in Girl Scouts. 
Favorite class: Madison loves to go to art class, but she also loves reading class because she likes to look at the pictures that go with the stories.  The pictures inspire her to draw her own.
Favorite movie:  Pete’s Dragon
Favorite color:  pink, purple, and blue
Siblings: Benson (age 4 in preschool) and a little brother or sister on the way in February (she’ll take suggestions for names) 
When I grow up:  She wants to be an art teacher so she can teach art to students and show them how much fun it is!
