Four Applicants Are Seeking To Fill Vacant Supervisor Position

Antelope County offiicals will interview four applicants seeking to fill a position vacated by Harlan Brandt.

Brandt of Oakdale pleaded no contest to theft by deception and was sentenced to 24 months of probation and cannot run for or be in public office during his probation term, according to Judge Mark Johnson.

The four individuals seeking to fill the position include two Oakdale and two Tilden men. They are Ron Wilkinson of Oakdale, who formerly served as a supervisor; Stan Wilkinson of Oakdale; Kenny Bartos of Tilden and Greg Koinzan of Tilden. 

Antelope County Clerk Lisa Payne said the four will be interviewed by the the Antelope County clerk, treasurer and attorney at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, in public session. Payne said she was not sure if the supervisors will make a decision on appointment at that time.
