Fire Prevention Week: Firemen Give Tours, Teach Fire Safety

One way to prevent fires and fire-related injuries is through education.

During Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 7-13, our local fire departments are working to teach children the importance of fire safety. 

On Tuesday, the Neligh Fire Department gave firetruck rides to the preschool through second grade students, conducted firehall tours, presented safety talks and demonstrations and gave each child a fireman hat.
