By Carrie Pitzer [email protected] Faith Regional Physician Services is opening a primary care clinic in downtown Neligh this spring. Patrick Roche, chief operating officer at Faith Regional Physician Services, told the Antelope County News on Friday afternoon that the new clinic will be located at 306 L Street, Suite 301. The clinic will be in the newly constructed Mill Pointe Plaza, beside State Farm Insurance and Midwest Medical Transport. Roche said following several months of discussions, the Faith Regional Health Services Board of Directors and members of the Faith Regional Physician Services medical staff came to the decision that opening a clinic in Neligh would be in the best interest of the patients currently being served in that area. "We've been getting requests from the Neligh area for a couple of years now - from people in the community and providers," Roche said. "Things finally came together for us to make that happen." Roche said the Neligh location will be a full service family medicine clinic with providers Doug Dilly, MD and Sharon Gossman, APRN. Depending on the construction, Roche said the new clinic will open in Neligh either in late April or early May. "We are excited," Roche said. "It's a good opportunity to expand the services we offer, as well as to provide new opportunities for patients in the area." FRPS is an affiliate of Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. FRPS also has primary care clinics in Battle Creek, Laurel, Madison, Norfolk, Pierce, Stanton, Tilden, Wakefield, Wayne, Wisner and Woodland Park. |
