Deadline For Incumbents To File For Election Just Days Away

For incumbents, the deadline to file for the 2014 election is just days away. All others seeking election have nearly a month to file.

According to the Nebraska Attorney General's office, the deadline for incumbents to file is Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The deadline for new filers for office is Monday, March 3. By having nearly a month left until the deadline, those filing for office for the first time still have an opportunity to attend nearly all February meetings of public offices.

Antelope County residents wishing to file for election, as incumbents or new filers, should do so at the Antelope County Clerk's office.
