Creekwood Chiropractic Raises Money For Jaws Of Life

No matter the number of zeros, every donation to the Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life is appreciated.

Last week, Dr. James Zielinski of Creekwood Chiropractic used a booth at the inaugural Antelope County Ag & Home Expo to raise money for the volunteer organization. Zielinski adjusted people at the expo for a donation to the local Jaws of Life. 

"I wanted to introduce people to chiropractic, but I wanted to do it for a worthy cause. And what's more worthy than the Jaws of Life?" Zielinski said.

On Friday, Zielinski presented the $120 raised to Dave Jacobsen, captain of the Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life. Jacobsen said every donation helps, no matter the size, and said he hopes this donation helps people realize how much they appreciate every dollar given.

"This helps us raise money for our equipment and also for our bunker gear," Jacobsen said. "Every little bit helps us a lot."

Zielinski pointed out that the donation to the Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life also helps other organizations. After all, Brunswick will receive Neligh-Oakdale's old equipment.
