The Antelope County Fair is right around the corner, planned this year from July 28-August 2. Ag Olympics will kick off the fair on Tuesday, and other events will include bull riding, the demolition derby, truck and tractor pull and this year's music entertainment, Montgomery Gentry. Here is the complete schedule of events including 4-H shows: Tuesday, July 28 9:00 a.m. 4-H/FFA Dog Show 1:00 p.m. 4-H/FFA Cat Show 3:00 p.m. 4-H/FFA Small Pet Show 7:00 p.m. Ag Olympics Ag Olympics Events include: Hay Hauling Monkey Wrenching Dairy Delight Corn Crazy Scrambled Eggs Rolling Easy Registration for Ag Olympics begins at 6:30 p.m. in the horse arena. Participants will compete in teams of two. Must complete all events together. The games may be messy, so participants are encouraged to "dress for a mess." The fastest three teams to finish the events in each of the age groups will place. Age groups are 4 to 6-years old; 7 to 12-years old; 13 to 18-years-old; and adults.
