Catelyn Hall Cuts Her Way To National Rodeo Finals

A Neligh teen has earned a spot in the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR), July 13-19, where she will compete against the top rodeo athletes in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

Catelyn Hall, a student at Plainview High School, will compete in girls cutting at the "World's Largest Rodeo." Her unofficial draw times are Tuesday, July 15, at 9 a.m. MT, and Thursday, July 17, at 7 p.m. MT. Official times will be posted at the rodeo site, the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs, Wyo.

Hall will compete in the first two long go-rounds, vying for one of the top 20 spots in her event to qualify for the short go. 

She is the daughter of Doug and Luan Hall of rural Neligh.
