If you need to satisfy a sweet tooth now and then, you can feel a little less guilty about it thanks to the TeamMates Mentoring Program.
Nine candy machines were installed throughout Neligh in support of the Neligh-Oakdale TeamMates Mentoring Program. A quarter gets you a handful of candy with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the local chapter.
Candy machines were installed this week at Neligh Auto & Machine, Green Line Equipment, Jonny Dodge, ESU #8, Antelope County Courthouse and Antelope County Sheriff's Office. They were also installed at both school locations - West Ward and East Ward (2 machines) - however, those machines open to the public at school will have only healthy options, such as nuts and trail mix.
If you'd like to have a candy machine at your business in support of TeamMates, contact Kay Schilling at 402-887-4182. For more information on the program, or for an application to become a mentor, contact Denise Gunderson at 402-887-5290.
