Antelope County 4-H Archery Team Competes At State

Seven members of the Antelope County 4-H Archery Team competed at state last weekend.

The 2014 State 4-H Archery Outdoor Championships and the High School 3D Bowhunter Championships were held at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, June 7-8. 

"We had another very good turnout and good weather!" said coordinator Mark Eggers. "A big thanks to Becky Carmin, Cheryl Escritt, Julie Eggers and Kacey Eggers for a great job of running the tournament.  Also, a big thanks to all of the other volunteers that helped us set up and tear down. We couldn’t have done this without all of you!"

He said several shooters from the area earned medals and ribbons at the state competition.
