AMH Recognizes Employees For Years Of Service

Antelope Memorial Hospital honored a number of employees for the longevity over the weekend.

During the hospital’s annual Christmas party on Saturday, AMH honored 18 different employees for their years of service.

Tami Kester, Danielle Van Buren and Mary Tomjack were all recognized for five years with the hospital. Kim Stuhr was honored for her 10 years of service. Connie Knuth, Tammy Struebing, Elizabeth Furstenau and Janet Mignery all notched 15 years of service.

Employees recognized for 20 years were Gayle Carlson, Gay Hixon, Karol Michael and Cynthia Knievel. Janice Esau was honored for her 25 years of employment. Jeanette Henn and Michael Mortensen were both noticed for 30 years of employment.

Incredibly, there were a number of employees that have more than three decades under their belt. Rhonda Meyer and Rhonda Novak both recorded 35 years of service. Carol Anderson was the big winner on the night, posting 40 years of service to the hospital.

​One employee was also recognized for his outstanding citizenship. Jesse Mitchell was officially awarded the Caring Kind award after having been previously announced as the winner. Each year, the Nebraska Hospital Association honors employees from hospitals across the state as “Caring Kind” employees. The honored employee must exemplify the spirit of someone who gives that “something special” to others.
