Additional Concert Tickets Released In Antelope County

More tickets are now available to Antelope County residents for Saturday's Willie Nelson/Neil Young concert.

Two hundred additional tickets will be sold at the Antelope County News in Neligh located at 110 E. 4th Street. This is the only local outlet for these additional tickets. 

Bold Nebraska and partner groups including Sierra Club, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Indigenous Environmental Network announced today they are releasing additional tickets for the “Harvest the Hope” benefit concert featuring Willie Nelson and Neil Young to support the ongoing fight against the Keystone XL pipeline.

Due to demand and newly available additional parking spaces, 500 hundred more tickets will be released for sale online.

Art Tanderup, who is hosting the concert on his family’s farm, said, “When I got in the tractor and into the field, we realized if we cleared just a little bit more corn we could ensure more pipeline fighters who want to see rock legends Neil Young and Willie Nelson would have an opportunity to be part of this historic event.”

The concert production team Spectral Q and 1% Productions worked with the Bold Nebraska team so the concert could sell more tickets. Jane Kleeb, director of Bold Nebraska, said, “We are excited that more members of the Cowboy and Indian Alliance and citizens who are fighting the risky Keystone XL project will be able to stand up and protect the heartland at the Harvest the Hope concert.”

Bold Nebraska is also thrilled to release an MP3 of Neil Young’s new song written for the pipeline fight, called “Stand Up”. The song is an anthem for everybody who has fought the tar sands pipeline in order to protect their land, water, and communities. Neil Young gave permission to Bold Nebraska to use the song to help the fight against the Keystone XL pipeline. The song was first played at Farm Aid 2014.
