Clearwater Students Honored For Vocal Talents

The halls of Clearwater School are ringing with beautiful voices these days thanks to a number of recognized singers. 

Two Clearwater students were named to the 2017 Children's All-State Choir and nine more were selected to participate in Sing Around Nebraska.

​Irelyn Bearinger and Lenora Kester from Clearwater were selected to participate in the 2017 Children's All-State Choir in Lincoln, NE. The two or just a couple of the 350 singers from the whole state in grades fourth and fifth that were selected. They will perform in the opening concert of the Nebraska Music Educators Convention on November 16.

Nine more students from Clearwater Public School have been selected to participate in the Sing Around Nebraska Festival Choir held in Bartlett on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  These students are: Daley Bearinger, Kelsey Schlecht, Raina Krebs, Caydence Schumacher, Julie Olivan, Shaylie Kester, Irelyn Bearinger, Lenora Kester, and Bennet Flenniken.

​Sing Around Nebraska is a festival choir for students in grades 4-6 and held every two years.  There are multiple sites and dates of performances across the state, and the same music is performed at each site.
