Clearwater-Orchard TeamMates Hosting Tailgate On Friday

The Clearwater-Orchard TeamMates Mentoring Program is hosting a tailgate, in conjunction with the football game on Friday.

Hamburgers and brats will be sold for a free-will donation, starting at 6 p.m., at the football field in Orchard. Kick off vs. Niobrara/Verdigre is set for 7 p.m.

A football, autographed by Bo Pellini and Tom Osborne, will also be given away in a raffle drawing. Proceeds will go toward the newly-formed Clearwater-Orchard TeamMates chapter.

On Monday, October 20, there will be two community informational meetings about the TeamMates program. The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Clearwater school, and the next at 7:30 p.m. at the Orchard school. 

Training for mentors will be held October 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Clearwater school. TeamMates Mentoring Program staff will also be meeting with students during October to introduce the program.
