The Director of Nursing is responsible for effective overall management of the Nursing Department and coordination with other disciplines to provide quality care to all residents. The Director of Nursing also monitors the outcomes of nursing service activity by evaluating the performance of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all facility and regulator agency standards, policies and procedures, coordination of facility committees and monitoring the effective and efficient use of budgeted resources.
Qualifications: current RN license; management experience in a long-term, sub-acute or post-acute care setting preferred; ability to work flexible work hours to support state and federal resident care requirements; and superior customer service aptitude and approach.

Michael Foods is now hiring for three positions: Feedmill Driver, Poultry Care Persons and Part Time Security Guard.
Maintenance: We are looking to fill a full-time Maintenance position that helps to maintain poultry houses and equipment in good operating condition. A qualified candidate will have mechanical experience that includes welding, torching, preventative maintenance work, etc. A valid drivers license is required for this position but a Class A CDL would be preferred.
Feedmill Driver: We are looking for a Feedmill Driver/Operator to assist in mill operations and delivery of feed on the farm as well as our pullet farm in Plainview, NE. A qualified candidate will have experience with feedmill operations such as some computer knowledge, mixing feed, delivering feed, preventative maintenance, etc. A valid Class A CDL is required for this position. Starting minimum wage is $17.00 per hour but pay will be based on experienced.
Poultry Care Persons: We have part time and full time positions available as Poultry Care Persons. This position is responsible for working with all aspects of our layer houses to include providing an excellent environment and quality of care of our laying hens.

The Upper Elkhorn NRD is accepting applications for a full time Agronomy Resource Technician.
Primary responsibilities are to assist in implementation of UENRD Rules and Regulations pertaining to water quality. This position will provide technical/compilation support on data collection related to nitrate nitrogen. This individual will work directly under the Water Resources Manager and directly with landowners/producers to inform/educate on Best Management Practices to reduce nitrogen leaching.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Agronomy or Natural Resources and/or experience working in a nutrient management field is required. Communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft office programs and ArcGIS experience is highly beneficial. The salary range is $35,000-$55,000 plus vacation, medical, and retirement benefits.
